Duffield Painting Services was engaged after the owner of this 3 story bay front home decided to put the property on the market.

The building had become affected by mould growth on the Granosite substrate due to its close proximity to water and a thermal layer beneath the surface of the walls that was allowing moisture to become trapped.

After our initial discussions two options were presented to the client to deal with the mould growth and simultaneously uplift the property with a fresh and suitable colour.

The project commenced with mould treatment and a full building wash before a full day of surface protection to the windows, tiles and electrical fittings as we predicted high winds whilst applying our coating system.

A combination of scaffold, ladders and elevated work platforms were used to safely access all areas of the building.

The result is a pristine and modern family home showcasing its unique architectural character whilst subdued enough to blend perfectly with the beautiful surroundings of Sydney’s bay run.
